Students who have completed an associate of arts degree from a regionally accredited Missouri college or university will be guaranteed general university admission providing that it is the last institution attended, they have a cumulative 2.0 GPA (4.0 scale), and they were in good academic standing during their final term of study. Entry into specific majors may be dependent on meeting additional GPA requirements and the completion of specific prerequisite courses.

If I transfer to MU will my GPA from my previous institutions impact my MU GPA?
For most students the MU GPA is based solely on attempted coursework at MU. The GPA of transfer is kept separately as part of your academic history. The exception to this rule applies to students transferring from other University of Missouri campuses. The grades of the courses completed at other UM system campuses (UMKC, UMR, & UMSL) will be factored into the MU GPA.
